NACCU Honors Ken Boyer with the 2020 Distinguished Service Award

The recipient of this award has been an incredible asset to NACCU. He has led and participated in many presentations and educational programs over the years. He continues to mentor and guide many of the talented leaders within our industry today. He is a wise counselor, a standard bearer of integrity, and highly respected in our field. As a servant leader who always shines the spotlight away from himself, while promoting the development of others, he has consistently been out front in the development of programs that will help our members continue to thrive for years to come. The recipient has served on numerous NACCU committees, has served on the Board of Directors and as NACCU President, and currently serves as the NACCU Conference Chair. He also served as chairman of the Executive Director Search Committee that hired current Executive Director Dawn Thomas. During his tenure on the board, he helped to strengthen a solid foundation for NACCU to stand on to explore new initiatives. He does not shy away from new technology on his campus and is always more than happy to share innovations with others and provide guidance and support to other campuses. Our recipient strongly believes that NACCU is a family and he is always striving to make new connections and to nurture those he has made. NACCU would not be where it is today without this individual and his enthusiasm, forward thinking, and visionary leadership. It is with great pleasure that NACCU and award sponsor ASSA ABLOY honor Ken Boyer as the recipient of the 2020 NACCU Distinguished Service Award in recognition for his outstanding leadership, service and tireless efforts on behalf of his university, our association and our industry.  The video features Jim Primovic from ASSA ABLOY and award recipient Ken Boyer from Mercer University.
